My NaNo goal for the weekend is to brainstorm several different ways I might open my novel, but I haven't done anything about it yet. I prefer to wing it for the most part, and I'm not inclined to do any detailed outlining, but in this case, I have several conflicting ideas for beginnings & want to think through them all a bit. I feel like I at least need to know where I'm going to start, and then I can just go from there in November. Also, my husband thinks my wolf ideas are clichéd, so I'm toying with the idea of not having any wolf stuff at all....arrgh. But I'm not feeling very good right now, so I'm not getting much done. This has been a very lazy day.
