I was willing to give November over to NaNoWriMo, but now it's eating October, too... I have a ton to do in October, including 3 or 4 short writing pieces I need to finish up so I can have my brain free for writing a novel in November, but the NaNoWriMo forums are already eating my brain. I can't stay away, and it's only October 7. Help!

I live in Texas and I'm a married mother of 2 small boys. I have a lop-eared bunny named Pablo, and I eat way too much fast food. I've wanted to be a writer since I was 5.
