NaNoBlog 2002
30 days. 50,000 words. No sweat.

I stayed up until 1:45 am, and doing what? Um, reading articles about NaNo online, and setting up a binder for my novel and making a nice little label for the spine...just obsessive NaNo stuff! I have this big purple binder that holds photos on the cover, & I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Then I decided to use it for NaNo--I'm going to print out each day's pages and stick them in the binder so I can see the novel start to stack up. At least, I hope that's how it works out! I bought myself a 3-hole punch, and got a nice purple translucent floppy disk to save it all on, and made a label for the disk with the NaNo typewriter logo on it, and a similar label for the binder, which I spent way too much time trying to get just right. Now you'll know I've gone over the edge if I then look for photos of people who look like my characters to put in the photo pockets. ;-) Actually, I will probably put my kids' pics on it, to remind me I still have a family and should look up from my keyboard every now & then....
