NaNoBlog 2002
30 days. 50,000 words. No sweat.

I just counted up all the ideas I have for novels, both ones I've written small bits on and vague ideas in the back of my mind for "someday," and I have 10 of them! I'm worried I'm picking the wrong idea for NaNo, because it's a very character-driven idea, and I'm not sure at all how the plot will work out. It's hard for me to even narrow down what it's about. I just have a restless character & I know some of her problems, but I'm not sure what she's going to do about them. It would probably be easier to write something heavily plot-driven in a month, and I do have some ideas like that, but for some reason this one keeps calling my name. (Also, a lot of my ideas don't count for NaNo because I've already written chapters of them, and 2 or 3 would be children's novels that don't even need to be 50,000 words when they're done.)

Now, if only I can successfully figure out how to write a novel in a month, maybe I can repeat it and get all 10 of them written by next year! (Ha ha ha.)
